ENCHANTED HOLLOW
October 2008
1:00-4:00 P.M. (RAIN OR SHINE)
The Broadview Heights Spotlights Community Theater's Annual “Enchanted Hollow” is a family-friendly
event with theatrical flair that offers a non-scary Halloween alternative to children and adults of all ages.
The outdoor event is held in the woods at The Fields complex at Broadview and Royalwood Roads, one-
half mile North of Route 82. Admission is $7 for children and students, $5 for adults. The event is co-
sponsored by the Broadview Heights Recreation Department.
Guests of the Hollow follow a meandering nature trail where they will observe various skits performed by
the Spotlights’ players. The Spotlights bring many familiar children’s characters to life at the Hollow.
Some past skits featured favorite princesses and their fairy godmothers, mysterious mermaids and
“square” crustaceans, and a rhyming cat with one snazzy hat, to name a few. The Enchanted Hollow also
offers various activities for youngsters before and after they visit the trail, including a hay bale maze, a
pumpkin patch, free donuts and punch, and a cozy campfire. A concession stand will be open for
additional food purchases. At the end of the trail, there is a hayride shuttle back to the parking lot. Each
child will receive of a goodie-bag of treats.
NOTE: The nature train contains hill and steps and is not handicap accessible.
