Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty have lovingly brought to life all of our favorite
Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, Gertrude McFuzz, Lazy
Mayzie, and all of the Whos of Whoville! The score is a Seussian Gumbo of musical
styles, ranging from Latin to pop, swing to gospel, and R&B to funk! Toes will tap
and fingers will snap, and imaginations will run wild for “Oh, the thinks you can
think, When you think about Seuss!”.
The show will be directed by Amy McSweeney. The Music Director will be Tim
Anderson.
Auditions (ages 10-18) will be Mon. & Tues., May 19 & 20, 2008 at 6PM at the
Cultural Arts Building, 9543 Broadview Road (next to the Police Department). Bring
sheet music and be prepared to sing. No taped music please. Callbacks will be
May 21st at 6PM.
